  1. group together tracks from the same release

    Whlst going through 'my beatport', there are often tracks from EPs scattered across several pages. Could tracks from a release be grouped together?

  2. Sorting mess

    Ok - crates was waaaay more clear when the tracks were sorted by release date. As of now after clicking on an artists I am getting the tracks in pretty much random order, any reason behind that? Thanks in advance for looking into this.

  3. Feature: populate shopping cart with tracks from CSV file (and/or spotify)

    I'm trying to get hard copies of 2000+ tracks from my spotify playlists, and searching for every track individually is proving extremely time-consuming. I'm currently trying to automate the search-and-add-to-cart workflow with UI automation like selenium, but it is error-prone and very fragile. It would be amazing if Crates.co could turn a CSV file into a populated shopping cart, by (A) searching for the track described in row X, (B) finding the best match for the given title/artist/duration, (C) add the track to my beatport shopping cart, and (D) provide a list of the tracks that couldn't be found or…

  4. "Result Window Is Too Large"

    Page 197 is the last page I'm able to view. When trying to go to Page 198 (or further to pick up where I left off) I'm greeted with the above error message.

  5. Ability to hide previously-listened-to tracks

    Tend to listen to new releases while doing other things, so being able to mute previsouly-listened-to tracks would be great!

  6. Add filtering & sorting inside your "Hold Bin" & "Cart".

    Now it is available only in "My Beatport" which is good but when there are hundreds of tracks inside your Hold Bin...well that would be great to filter them as well.

    Add a Spotify search function similar to the YouTube one. I pay for Spotify and would love to hear a high resolution copy before buying.

  8. Ability to filter out tracks you already own by uploading a file with their details

    For example, uploading a CSV with the relevant metadata that then persists so you can only see tracks you haven't listened to. Ability to combine this with the other filters too.

  9. Setup HTTPS using LetsEncrypt

    Title says it all. Would be great to setup SSL/TLS and you can easily setup to auto-renew certs fairly easily. Better security on the web is always good.

    Ability to filter by genres (to see as many as all, as little as one genre at a time), via checkbox toggle or other similar method of changing selection.

    Result Window Is Too Large after 200 pages. When going through genre crates if you try to go past page 200 I get a "result window is too large" error

  14. Add 'Hide Already Listened' check box outside of Inbox e.g. Top 100, Hype Top 100 etc.

    Thanks so much for implementing 'Hide Already Listened' in the Inbox feature:-)

    I would really like to see this available more generally - for example when looking at genre 'Top 100' or 'Hype Top 100' lists it would speed things up a lot if previously listened tracks could be hidden.

    Hi there - i've noticed an issue in the last few weeks which I don't think there was there before, where a search in Crates can't find a track, but searching in beatport does?

    For example, 'Comet Chaser' by Sasha:

  17. How does Crates make money?

    I'd like to know how Crates makes money, since there doesn't seem to be any subscription or license available. Is it free forever? If so, why? How is it funded? How is the data used?

  18. Some releases missing

    It doesn't happen frequently, but sometimes there are releases on Beatport that doesn't show in Crates at all.

    E.g.
    https://www.beatport.com/label/xploded-music-limited/88162/tracks
    https://crates.co/label/xploded-music-limited/88162/tracks

    Same label, Beatport has many more releases than Crates!

    Unfortunately this is an issue with Beatport’s API, but we’re hoping they get it fixed within the next few months.

    Beatport is aware of the issue and we’re in touch with them every few weeks for an update!

  19. Territory Options

    As someone who lives in the UK, some tracks are showing that aren't available to me, and vice versa. Not to mention everything is in dollars and not pound sterling. An option to choose which territory you're in would be great!

  20. Drag and drop crate ordering

    It would be great to be able to put together a playlist for a gig in a crate, in the order you may want to play the tracks in, and see if the tracks fit the way you want them to before checking out.

    Also, it would be great to be able to sort by each column. Basically the rekordbox functions of sorting and drag/drop to reorder tracks.
